Böbe Barsi was born in Hungary. Her fondest childhood memories are linked to a clapped-out Lada manufactured in the former USSR, into which she and her family squeezed every summer to travel around Europe.
She began her studies in Budapest and worked as a freelance journalist for several years writing about art and education. Later, she spent four years in Argentina and Spain, where she studied Communication and worked in different fields including journalism and diplomacy. Meanwhile, she was busy doing research on migration museums and the way that migrants are using the Internet in their quest for new homes. She holds an MA degree in Communication and Aesthetics.
She loves everything related to airports and her favorite belonging is a globe on her desk. These days, her trips end in Budapest.
