Joseph Denize, ex-Fabricant (1997, copywriting), is a Frenchman living in Florence, Italy, where he works as a freelance translator and copywriter. He has been translating COLORS since 2007. He has written screenplays for movie directors such as Michal Kosakowski (Wait A Minute) and Modi Barry (1983) and collaborated with musicians such as Nathaniel Reichman, Francis Kuipers and  Paolo Marzocchi (Logos, La balena). He has taught English literature at Paris 8 University and Florence University and has published original fiction, reviews, articles and translations of works by Giorgio Manganelli, E. A. Poe, W. B. Yeats and others. His first novel, Noctuario, was published in 2009.
