Colors

Ries Straver (Holland, 1975) is a video maker and director with a background in art, design and carpentry. His work ranges from documenting the experiential momentum to scripted and concept based narrative.

He has written, produced and directed dozens of independent and commissioned videos, and screened internationally to high critical acclaim for his unique blend of cultural commentary and nuanced humor.

Ries resides in Treviso and worked with H-Farm as creative director of social media company Shado. He currently leads a team of international filmmakers, video artists, musicians and sound designers as Head of Media at Fabrica.

He used to be an acrophobic, but now follows a skydiving class.
