Walter Hutton is a graphic designer and writer born in 1982 in Bath, England. In 2004 Walter graduated with a degree in information design from the London College of Printing (now the London College of Communication).
Walter went on to become creative director and studio manager of the commercial design studio at his former college, as well as lecturing on various courses. In this role he art directed design projects for diverse clients including museums, government institutions, universities and private companies and was personal mentor to both graduates and students.
In the spring of 2009 Walter was invited to Fabrica, during his residency he worked on various design and writing projects most notably art directing, designing and writing the accompanying notes for an illustrated edition of Dante's inferno, published by Mondadori.
In the summer 2011 Walter returned to Fabrica to art direct Colors 82 .
