Reporters Without Borders - World Freedom Press Rankings

The classification is based on 52 criteria including: number of journalists killed, imprisoned, threatened or expelled; existence of censorship; absence of independent means of communication; presence of constraints for foreign journalists; existence of a state monopoly of radio and television, disregard for the principle of confidentiality of sources of information; control over Internet. The higher the country's position, the more freedom of the press (#1 best conditions; #167 catastrophic conditions).
