When some imagine a post-apocalyptic world, they imagine -40 degree temperatures, half a year of blackness, and a limited selection of staggeringly expensive store-bought food. But if that's the definition, many of those living in northern Canada are already experts at coping with doomsday. According to Statistics Canada, over two thirds of Inuit adults in the Canadian Arctic still harvest food for personal use.
