Civil Disobedience, Saudi Arabia.

In March 2008, Wajeha al-Huwaider posted a short video of herself driving in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a country where women are banned from driving. It earned her nine days in detention, thousands of online views and international diplomatic support. Today, Saudi women may drive bicycles and motorcycles in recreational areas, but “only for entertainment” while wearing full abaya and accompanied by a male family member.
